Linda and her husband Tom moved to Tehachapi in 1988 when their two boys were four and six years old. They joined MBC in 1989. They raised their family in the Tehachapi schools and community. Linda has worked in the community in various capacities over the decades. She now has five incredible grandsons that live in Spokane and Visalia with their parents. Linda enjoys watching Tom raise his bees and his passion for them. They love MBC and the City of Tehachapi.

Neya is originally from Panama but has spent the majority of her adult life in Tehachapi, CA. She became a Christian in 1987. Neya has served the Lord faithfully for 35 years and has served MBC for 24 years now. She always goes above and beyond her job duties and adds a special touch to everything she does.
JULIE STURM
DONATION SPECIALIST
Julie moved from Huntington Beach to Tehachapi in 1982 where she attended and graduated from Tehachapi High School. Over the years she has enjoyed working locally in both escrow and mortgage loans. Her and her husband Tim have raised their family in Tehachapi, and now have five beautiful grandchildren that live close by who they love spending time with. Julie’s favorite things to do are camping with family, working in the gardens and enjoying the outdoors.
JOnathon Plasencia
INTERIM PASTOR/ Family pastor
Jonathon is married to his beautiful bride Felicia. They have 4 children, 3 boys and a girl. Jonathon received his pastor's license (2016) and ordination (2018) through the Foursquare church. At his last church he spent 12 years serving in Children's Ministry where he was able to serve as a games director at multiple camps, VBS creator, and was the Children's Pastor for 5 years. He and his wife also lead a Young Adults ministry for 4 years and served in Children's ministry together for nearly their whole relationship. Outside of church, Jonathon also leads a Firefighters for Christ chapter in the Antelope Valley.
Jason Wheeler
Worship pastor
Jason has been attending Mountain Bible Church since mid-2018 with his wife Christal and their young son, Logan. In the latter part of that same year, Jason and Christal became official members. Having been blessed with some musical talents, Jason was asked to join in helping to lead worship and has been playing guitar and singing nearly every Sunday morning since then. Jason is also a graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a degree in applied psychology. Jason has experience using his educational skills towards bettering others in the field of drug and alcohol counseling. Today, Jason is using his gifting as the Funeral Director of Woods Family Funeral Services in Tehachapi.
